State Certified Third Party Road Test Facility

APOA is a state certified third party road testing facility for class D drivers license for the Fairbanks area. All Road Test are by appointment only.

The Road Testing fee is $50 pass or fail.  Applicants must have a valid Instruction Permit for a minimum of six months if under the age of 18 to be eligible for the first Road Test. 

Applicants under 18 must have a parent or guardian present at time of appointment.  Applicants who pass will be issued a license at the DMV facility on Peger road.  Applicants who fail must wait the mandatory 7 days before being retested.  Applicants vehicle will be inspected for road worthiness & must pass minimum equipment standards.

Parents: This is an exacting test given by law enforcement officers.  Teens must demonstrate high skill levels & a commitment to defensive driving.
