The Anchorage Chapter meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Golden Corral (4520 Union Square Drive near Tudor and C street). A $10 buffet lunch is served at 11:30 am. The luncheons include speakers on topics of interest to our members. No chapter meetings JUNE through AUGUST. The Capital City Chapter in Juneau meets the first Thursday of each month at 12pm at the Moose Lodge. Our board meetings also take place during this time. Lunch can be purchased at the venue. No chapter meetings JUNE through AUGUST. The Farthest North Chapter meets the first Wednesday of each month at 12pm at the Big Dipper Ice Arena conference room @ 1920 Lathrop St, Fairbanks. It is located on the 2nd floor toward the back of the building. No chapter meetings JUNE through AUGUST. The Farthest North Chapter Board meets at 12pm on the last Friday of the month at rotating locations. The Kenai Peninsula Chapter meets the second Tuesday of each month at 12pm. Meeting locationsalternate between Kenai PD and Soldotna PD. No chapter meetings JUNE through SEPTEMBER. The Mat-Su Chapter meets the first Thursday of each month at 12pm at Strudel Bakers (6177 E. Mountain Heather Way, Unit #1 in Wasilla). Lunch can be ordered off the menu prior to the meeting. No chapter meetings JULY through SEPTEMBER. |
Each April, we take time to celebrate the people who support the communications systems we rely on every day and highlight the importance of emergency communications in creating resilient critical infrastructure. Emergency communications is a complex ecosystem. It is made resilient and secure through strong partnerships and collaboration between first responders, federal agencies, private organizations, and the public.
The DHS Office for State and Local Law Enforcement (OSLLE) launched the Law Enforcement Resource Library, a brand-new searchable library of resources available to state, local, tribal, territorial, and campus law enforcement. The revamped guide allows for users to quickly find targeted resources by browsing through categories or using the new search bar feature, which creates a more user-friendly experience and gives faster access to DHS resources.
